Five helms enjoyed the training day at Haversham SC on 31 May and are planning to put their new skills and knowledge into practice at events later this year. Kev Moore gave a brilliant onshore explanation of how to get the best out the C11 rig, then the boats were put through a series of challenging exercises on the water. Many thanks to Kev and also to Gordon Tweedle the Haversham organiser. We are looking forward to returning to Haversham on 18 & 19 October.

It's a shame that the numbers attending were not higher, but the light winds put off people wanting training in stronger winds techniques and several apologies were also received. There will be other training opportunities later in 2014.
