I popped into Hartley Boats this morning to purchase a few boat bits, and took the opportunity to ask about progress with the Bytes. While I was there another Byte order was taken, this time from my home club at Ogston. Hartley are working flat out on other Dinghy Show and Sailing School orders, so have not yet started their Byte production run. They have a demonstrator available (the grey-hulled boat from the Dinghy Show). They have bought a couple of Bytes from Nautivela to loan out to prospective GBR Youth Olympics helms, and these were awaiting delivery. I was given a tour of most of the Hartley Boats “factory” and was impressed with what I saw.
