The Inland Championships is being held on 7 & 8 June at Cardiff Yacht Club (please note - not Cardiff Bay YC which is on the other side of the Bay). This is a big stretch of water on what used to be the sea before a barrage was built across the bay to make a freshwater haven. Our event is part of the club Regatta, and if we have enough entries we have a separate start.

I have been pressing for the club to let me have a Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions, but so far they have not been provided. They have confirmed that the Regatta is going ahead on the same basis as last year, and here are my recollections (which I can't promise are completely accurate):

Cost £15 per boat to include entry, BBQ and band Saturday night, and camping on site.
Camping on grass in club compound. Motor caravans are also accepted. Camping available Friday and Saturday night - need to check with club regarding Sunday night.
Excellent food for breakfast and lunch at reasonable cost.
Excellent clubhouse facilities with well-stocked bar.
Four races each day, two back-to-back morning and afternoon
